We're in the Family-Friendly + Dog-Loving Business

Hello! We're Sean and Allie Johnson. In 2022, we decided to create our SAJE Paws brand and business as a way to share our love of Golden Retrievers with anyone and everyone that would come to our page. Myla, Sunny, and Bronze are the stars of the show (along with our kids, of course!) As we post the most adorable pictures of their litters, our goals are to bring a smile to your face and to help you find your next furry best friend!

Our Story

For the Love of Three Dogs

Growing up, Allie's family always had lots of dogs. From Labs to Poodles, from Huskies to Samoyeds, from Cocker Spaniels to, finally, Golden Retrievers. She fell in love with the breed when they added Miga to the family, a red Golden Retriever, while they lived in Mexico.

Sean, on the other hand, always wanted a dog growing up, but never had one. In the 5th grade he even created a slideshow project explaining all of the reasons his family should get a dog. That project, and the constant begging, eventually worked, and Sean's family added Mara to the picture when he was a senior in high school. Needless to say, when Sean and Allie got married, it didn't take too long to add a furry best friend to the mix!

Myla, our first Golden Retriever, joined the family in 2017. She is the reason we started breeding, as we fell in love with absolutely everything about her. She has a soft, gentle personality and loves to snuggle. She was also always excited to go on a hike, a mountain biking trip, or go to the lake. Her coat is a beautiful golden color, and she has always loved people, including our young babies and children. So, of course, what's not to love about her?!

Sunny, our second Golden, came from Myla's second litter with Maverick the Sundance Kid in 2021. She took on a lot of her dad's traits, including taking on a lot of his looks and personality. She is a smaller English Cream colored pup with an athletic build. She has been the perfect running buddy for Allie. Just as Myla did, she instantly became part of the family.

Lastly, Bronze, our dark red stud, joined the family in 2022. He is the perfect addition and completes our trio! He is a mellow and person-loving pup who loves to fetch. He is a big boy, but he will cuddle with you as though he is a small lap dog (which we're pretty sure he thinks he is). He is also a fantastic listener and has quickly picked up on learning commands. Overall, he is a huge teddy bear that we can't get enough of!

So, it was the love we had for these three pups of ours that inspired us to create SAJE Paws. We wanted a way to show families our values: we believe in ethical, safe breeding. All of our dogs are DNA tested through Embark. OFA testing is always done when they meet the age and breeding criteria. We believe that dogs, and animals in general, are part of the family and are a long-term commitment, which is why we are here to help you choose the best puppy that will fit perfectly into your family and life-style.
